...was I thinking?! Larry has been a part of the Rodeo Run since he's worked for Conoco and he signed me up this year! Each year Larry tries to beat his previous time...so his goal this year was to complete the 10k in under 50 minutes. My goal was to cross the 5k finish line without EMS assistance. Well, we both succeeded! He finished the 10k in a whopping 47.40 minutes and I finished the 5k in 36 minutes. It felt great to finish my first run yesterday...but today...I wish the toilet seat was just a little higher. haha I'm hurtin' pretty good but it was worth it.

ReplyDeleteWow, that is impressive! I don't think I could run 1k in 47 minutes. I guess I am glad I live in Alabama so Larry wouldn't be dragging me out there to run too!
